my Wangtek SCSI tape drive didn't work, because scuzz doesn't understand
fixed-block tape devices.  i made the changes now found in /pub/plan9/bod/scuzz.bodrc
(a boddle file) on ftp.cs.york.ac.uk .  it's worked fine, since.
